Globaloria Exam

Describe your team's topic. What is the most important concept you want players to learn?
  • Our topic for our game is gonna be on constructing a bridge. Our most important concept for our game will have to be knowing how to add, subtract, multiply and divide and if they do not know how they will learn how to.
How did your individuals ideas from "Imagining Your Game" come together for your team game topic? How did your team decide the topic?
  • We both had agreed on a topic and went with that and decided to make up the ideas for that piece. 'We decided the topic on what we chose through three of our favorite things to do we first started off with construction then engineering then medical field and finally made our decision on construction.
Tell us more about your Team Process. Please talk about your specific roles and how you work together.
  • Our team process has been very excellent we have both decided to pick our construction game. Our roles was that my partner would draw the designs i would help with ideas with the game. When flash came along we both helped each other because it was kinda hard to do it on our own but now we both can do pretty much anything on there. Basically we had helped each other through all of this and he has been a great help.
What kind of research went into the way you will express the game topic?
  • The research we have done has been through mainly google which we of course looked up different types of pieces of images that would help us create a bridge. Our bridge is simple because we don't have enough time to make it a master piece. We have researched on wiki to help us get the ideas of the game going. It has also helped with the flash to create this game.
Explain the game play. What actions does it the player take in the game? Has this changed since you first started planning your game? Why?
  • The game play will be involved with a series of questions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and dividing. Players from ages 8-14 will take on theses types of questions although anyone can play this simple game. If you get all of theses answers correct then you win if you get any wrong at all you lose the game and have to start over. We haven't really made any changes in this game at all we have just decided to probably make the graphics more noticeable.
What flash recourse's have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these recourse's?
  • My recourse's for flash that has been a wonderful help would have to be my wiki and the paint on the computer it has helped us make wonderful graphics and learn how to use this excellent thing called flash. I located these recourse's through my favorite teacher Mrs. Tuggle she has been a great help this year although this is her first year and we have struggled she has been doing an excellent job.
What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty?
  • Probably working with flash it seemed to be really hard to make things work. Adding buttons and scenes to this just made it crazy. We finally found out a simple way on how we can overcome these obstacles and figure everything out.
